Job Description
Role and Responsibilities

This role is best suited for an individual with an academic background in the engineering and construction industry, with a structural design focus particular within the United Kingdom. This role requires continuous development of a individuals analytical and spatial abilities. A successful individual would be able to work with good pace and accuracy in developing hand computations, as well as the ability to use structural design software. The selected individual would need to have a firm understand and respect for company procedures.

Some of the duties that this role involves are:

·         Defining the scope of work for engineering projects.

·         Periodically reviewing the performance of your project workload.

·         Maintaining a positive relationship with all clients.

·         Keeping yourself informed of company changes to services and development.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

A bachelor’s of Engineering in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

A MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering, willing to consider candidates with degree in progress.

Professional Registration required

Registration with the Institution of Structural/Civil Engineers.

A minimum of 2+ years’ experience working in a similar, or junior role.

Preferred Skills

Demonstrating increased levels of responsibility managing projects and clients.

Demonstrated ability to make decisions quickly, juggle multiple tasks, communicate in a clear and concise manner, and provide effective leadership.

Must be comfortable making group presentations to various audiences.
